Iván Alonso González has been performing solo since 2003. After five years of professional work as a guitarist, he was introduced to the art of the circus in Lisbon. This was followed by various training workshops at circus schools in Spain, Brazil, and France.
He specialized as a clown and in Chinese pole acrobatics. He is a founding member of Circ Bover, with whom he toured for two years.
From 1998 to the present, he has been touring with two solo performances at theater festivals and street events for over ten years in more than 15 countries. He also participates in socially oriented circus projects.
Ivan is a geologist and, at the same time, an adventurous and multicultural clown who, thanks to the art of the circus, has traveled all over the world: from refugee camps in the Sahara Desert to working-class neighborhoods in Chile, and from the circus school in Bolivia to various festivals in Europe, South America, and Asia. Ivan has distinguished himself in various parts of the world, proving that he is beloved by a diverse and culturally varied audience.
