Jessica Arpin

She was born in Brazil and grew up between New Orleans and Geneva. After a year at HEI, she specialized in acrobatic cycling and clowning at the National Circus School of Montreal, graduating in 2002.

Since then, she has performed on stages, in big tops, and on the streets all over the world.

Whether in Brazil, Greece, Japan, Italy, or Nunavut, she always offers a unique approach that explores the boundaries between theater, circus, cabaret, and public space, in the local language, often in dialect and sometimes upside down.

Since 2002, he has collaborated with, among others, the Compañía Nau de Ícaros in São Paulo, the Compañía del Plat País in Belgium, Duo Roccoco with Luca Regina in Italy, Artcirq in Canada, Cia Toti Toronell, Garbuix in Catalonia, and in Switzerland with Théâtres du Loup, La Parfumerie, Le Grütli, Am Stram Gram, and Panorama Kino Theatre.

Since 2008, he has been touring with the street performance Kalabazi (over 1,300 performances in 33 countries) and, since 2020, with the new solo show Miss Margherita, an ode to pizza.
