Trotamundos

Trotamundos is a circus troupe founded in 2015 in Buenos Aires, Argentina, by Mailén Mansilla and Luciano Mezzotero. Its main goal is to create performances with a unique identity, using acrobatics, props, hula hoops, and clowning as tools to tell non-verbal stories that can be presented in various venues and reach a wide audience.
In 2016, the troupe settled in Bilbao, in the Basque Country, and began creating its first show, *Historias de un Baul* (Stories of a Trunk), directed by Txefo Rodriguez. It premiered in May 2017 at the Umore Azoka festival in Leioa.
Since then, they have presented over 250 performances throughout Spain, France, Portugal, Greece, Algeria, Argentina, Chile, Brazil, and the United Arab Emirates.
In late 2022, they began developing their second show, Finito—Infinito, with external artistic guidance from Txefo Rodriguez and circus direction by Garazi Pascual Esnaola.It premiered at Umore Azoka in May 2024 and has since been presented at numerous festivals throughout Spain and Portugal.
